Holocaust memorial in Judenplatz, aka “The Nameless Library”
Vienna, Austria
The structure represents a library with all the books blank and facing with the spines inward, to represent all the books that weren’t written by those killed in the Holocaust. The double doors on the front have no handles and do not open. In memory of the over 65,000 Austrian Jews who were killed.
